Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer with a strong background in construction to oversee technical aspects of projects from design to completion on a dynamic team.

You will review plans, coordinate RFIs, submittals, and document controls, and collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure specifications and schedules are met. A bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience are required.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Leadership and project management experience.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Job Details

We are seeking a Project Engineer with a strong background in the construction industry. This dynamic role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a team that builds and shapes the infrastructure of tomorrow. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our construction projects, from design to completion, ensuring that all engineering-related activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with RFIs, submittals, and document control.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of accuracy in grammar and writing.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, specifically Bluebeam.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
