Job summary

Abbott Construction in Olympia, WA is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent through all project phases. You will manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders, while providing planning support and budget revisions in Viewpoint.

A construction-related 4-year degree and 2+ years of project engineering experience are required, with healthcare construction experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug test.
• 4-year degree in a construction-related major.
• 2+ years of project engineering experience.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the submittal process.
• Oversee the RFI process and change order proposals.
• Provide support to PM and Supt with planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Assist estimating by soliciting subcontractors and distributing plans.
• Be the main point of contact for subcontractors; step in as PM when needed.
