Job summary

Bake’n Joy Foods, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in North Andover, MA to lead engineering projects that modify processes, add capabilities, reduce costs, and improve product quality in a food-manufacturing setting.

You will work cross-functionally to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to industry standards. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing engineering with PM experience, and AutoCAD/MS Project/MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience with project management in a food-manufacturing environment.
• Experience using AutoCAD to create and modify equipment layouts.
• Understanding of safety, health, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with process technology, controls, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement engineering changes to improve efficiency.
• Develop and execute project plans aligned with objectives and metrics.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve technical obstacles.
• Analyze drawings and models to optimize fabrication methods.
• Collaborate with vendors to design, fabricate, install and test new equipment.
• Direct internal resources and contractors for changes.
• Communicate across teams to manage changes in a controlled manner.
• Investigate manufacturing issues and provide remote support when needed.
