Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Construction Project/Engineering Manager to interpret drawings and 3D models for field crews, prepare work packages, and audit operations for safety compliance. You will order and schedule material deliveries, track progress, and maintain project controls with client reporting and schedule updates.

You will also generate change orders, supervise subcontractors, and coordinate interfaces across Midwest and East Coast sites, contributing to on-time, safe project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and 3D models for field crews and craft.
  • Prepare work plans and work packages.
  • Audit operations for safety compliance.
  • Order and schedule material deliveries.
  • Track installation progress.
  • Perform quality inspections and submit test records.
  • Maintain project controls, including client report development and schedule updates.
  • Generate change orders for project management review.
  • Supervise subcontractor operations.
  • Support site logistics.
  • Coordinate design and procurement interfaces.
  • Review and analyze project data.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings.
  • Complete plan and specification reviews.
  • Assist with bid preparation.
  • Contribute to the safety, quality, cost, and timely execution of industrial and power construction projects.
  • Work on diverse engineering, procurement, and construction projects across Midwest and East Coast project sites.
