Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Associate Degree or Technical Certificate with construction experience considered.
• Experience with construction software is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong detail orientation and organization.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the estimating team with the preparation of project estimates and competitive bid submissions
• Accurately perform quantity take-offs on cost estimates under the direction of an Estimator or Project Manager
• Solicit and follow up with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing
• Organize bid documents, subcontractor quotes, and supplier information
• Assist in preparing bid packages for submission
• Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work
• Maintain accurate subcontractor and vendor information for bidding
• Assist Project Managers with project setup, budgets, purchase orders, and project documentation following project award
• Coordinate project information between the estimating, project management, and field teams
• Perform field work including site visits, measurements, photos, and observations as directed

Team Meyer is a civil/sitework contractor based out of Maple Grove, MN who performs Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, Concrete Structures and Foundations operations primarily in the greater Midwest area. Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 0-3 years' experience preferred
• Associate Degree or Technical Certificate with relevant construction experience will be considered
• Experience in construction software such as: Bluebeam, Agtek, HCSS, AutoCAD, or MS Project is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Perform tasks in a detailed and organized manner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong plan reading and mathematical skills
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn

The salary range offered is $68,000 - $78,000 along with benefits which include medical, dental, paid time off, paid holidays, and retirement plan (401k) with company employer contribution.
