Whether you are a recent graduate looking to begin your career in estimating or an early-career professional seeking to grow in heavy civil construction, this role provides hands‑on training, direct exposure to senior leadership, and a clear path toward becoming a full Estimator.

  • Maintain organized digital bid files and documentation
  • Support development and maintenance of historical cost databases
  • Assist in preparing bid comparison spreadsheets and cost summaries
  • Participate in bid strategy meetings and estimate review sessions
  • Attend project turnover meetings to understand estimate-to-field transition
  • Review estimate versus actual cost reports to improve future estimating accuracy
  • Proactively build and foster positive working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, design teams, and MEB team members
Qualifications
  • Completion of a 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or equivalent combination of technical/military training and/or experience
  • 0–3 years of construction, field, project engineering, or estimating experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Detail- and deadline-oriented with strong computer and interpersonal skills
