Job summary

Sundt Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the technical source of information on our construction projects in Tampa.

You will work with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain schedules, submittals, and change orders. This role offers growth from entry level to Senior steps, requires strong communication, detail orientation, and a four-year construction degree with 3–4 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Minimum of three to four years of construction engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to supervise Field Engineer positions.

Responsibilities

• Understand PMP components including scope, procurement, schedule, and safety plans.
• Develop procurement schedule and coordinate submittals.
• Administer prime contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, and budgets.
• Maintain 'As-built' documents and close-out requirements.
• Prepare change orders and manage cost controls.
• Support project team and ensure relentless execution.
• Prevent claims and mitigate impacts.
