Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Project Engineer to lead energy projects from proposal through commissioning for critical facilities like hospitals and data centers. You will perform mechanical and electrical design, equipment selection, and develop technical proposals with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires 3+ years in project engineering within energy/power generation, strong AutoCAD skills, and the ability to manage scopes and budgets across multiple projects. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years in project engineering or project management (energy, power generation).
• AutoCAD skills and technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects.
• Perform mechanical and electrical design and calculations; coordinate with outside engineers.
• Create layouts, one-line diagrams, P&IDs in AutoCAD or Inventor.
• Conduct site surveys; prepare scopes, cost estimates and technical proposals.
• Maintain client, vendor, subcontractor and field technician contacts.
• Oversee installation, startup, commissioning; ensure compliance with safety rules and codes.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Project Engineer to own our energy projects from start to finish including proposal, engineering, installation, commissioning. Our projects are cogeneration units, stand‑by generator and energy systems for critical facilities such as hospitals, data centers and industrial plants.
