Job summary

Great Place Construction in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Project Engineer to join the on-site management team. You will facilitate field coordination, analyze project information, manage documents, and support closeout activities to deliver successful outcomes.

The role emphasizes communication, attention to detail, and hands-on involvement with pre-construction and project processes to grow with a growing company in commercial construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of construction means, methods and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop/implement pre-construction quality control plan.
• Assist in obtaining/maintaining construction permits.
• Administer daily project tracking and reporting.
• Manage and distribute project information and contract documents.
• Facilitate project close out.
• Actively participate in project processes: RFIs, submittals, as-builts, schedules, etc.
• Be an active participant in elevating yourself and the team around you.
• Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver a successful outcome.
