Job summary

Great Place Construction in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Project Engineer to join the on-site management team. You will facilitate, analyze and manage field coordination to support project execution on commercial builds.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a bachelor’s degree or progress toward one in construction or engineering, plus at least 1 year of related experience. Proficiency in MS Office and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of construction means, methods and practices
• Bachelor’s degree or working toward a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of related experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools
• Valid DL and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Develop/implement pre-construction quality control plan.
• Assist in obtaining/maintaining construction permits.
• Administer daily project tracking and reporting.
• Manage and distribute project information and contract documents.
• Facilitate project close out.
• Interact with RFI’s, submittals, as-builts, schedules, etc.
• Be an active participant in elevating yourself and the team around you.
• Willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver a successful outcome.
