Job summary

Gryphon Oakwood is seeking a Project Engineer – Electrical Construction in Phoenix to support delivery of commercial and mission critical electrical projects. You will work with project managers and field leadership across preconstruction, procurement, scheduling, documentation, and controls.

The role involves reviewing drawings, coordinating submittals and RFIs, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in electrical construction, project engineering, or project coordination.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, or mission critical electrical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and field operations.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and electrical safety standards.
• Experience with construction management software (Procore/ESub/MS Office) preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Working closely with Project Managers and field leadership, this role will assist in all phases of project execution, including preconstruction, procurement, scheduling, documentation, and project controls.
