Gryphon Oakwood are partnered with a billion-dollar electrical contractor and hiring for an experienced Project Executive.

The Project Executive will provide strategic leadership and executive oversight for a portfolio of construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from preconstruction through project closeout. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, and team development while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide executive oversight for multiple construction projects, ensuring successful execution from preconstruction through closeout.
• Establish project goals, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, providing coaching, support, and professional development.
• Promote and reinforce a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Participate in business development efforts, client presentations, and strategic pursuits.
• Review and approve project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Monitor project profitability and implement strategies to improve operational and financial results.
• Oversee contract administration, risk management, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Guide procurement strategies, subcontractor management, and resource allocation across projects.
• Review project schedules, manpower plans, and production metrics to ensure successful project execution.
• Resolve complex project issues and provide executive-level support for project teams.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational planning, staffing, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely project closeout, final documentation, and successful client turnover.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of electrical construction, typically acquired through completion of a five-year electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in construction project management, including experience leading multiple projects and managing project teams.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a senior management role within the construction industry.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability management.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and operational teams.
• Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
