Job summary

Rogers Electric in Abilene, TX, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our electrical construction team. You will collaborate with the Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and within budget, and you'll manage submittals, RFIs, and the buyout process alongside the PM.

Ideal candidates bring an Associate’s degree or 2+ years of administrative experience, are proficient in MS Office, and excel at communication, data interpretation, and detail-oriented reporting.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Strong task prioritization and timely completion skills.
• Maintains confidentiality, open to new ideas, and adaptable.
• Clear and persuasive oral communication; skilled in presentations and meetings.
• Accurate written communication with good editing and data interpretation.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality control.
• Adaptable to changing environments and competing demands.
• Reliable, punctual, follows instructions, and seeks feedback.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and within budget
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and buyout process alongside Project Manager
• Submit PCOs for review and approval
• Download updated drawings from GC programs
• Provide FBO inventory for projects, including site visits
• Prepare special reports as requested by PM
• Respond promptly to daily emails
• Use construction software as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
