CMC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the steel reinforcement and ground stabilization industries. You will design and supervise engineering for construction projects, develop budgets and schedules, and ensure on-time, within-budget completion.

The role offers training, advancement opportunities, and competitive compensation. Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree, have experience on fast-track projects, and can manage multiple projects concurrently

Qualificações

• Proficient in MS Office; Experience with MS Project preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work with operations to define scope, budgets and schedules.
• Design and supervise detailed engineering for new construction and expansions.
• Complete designs and provide value engineering.
• Develop construction specifications, bid packages, budgets and schedules, and permitting as required.
• Maintain accurate project records and budgets.
• Travel as required.

What You’ll Do

• Work with operations team to define scope, develop budgets and schedule
• Design and/or supervise and coordinate detailed engineering for new construction and expansion projects
• Complete designs and provide value engineering
• Develop construction specifications, bid packages, budget cost estimates, construction schedules, permitting, etc. as required to insure completion of projects on time and within budget
• Develop, establish, and maintain engineering budgets
• Coordinate and account for any changes in scope of work
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each project
• Ability to travel
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned, and requirements may vary from time to time

What You’ll Need

• Experience working on fast-track projects
• Demonstrated experience and/or skills working on multiple projects of varied degrees of complexity at the same time
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent work ethic, attention to detail and organizational skills
• Goal orientated
• Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferred

Your Education

• 4-Year ABET Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline required
