Job summary

Teledyne Brown Engineering in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Project Engineer to lead complex defense manufacturing programs, acting as a technical focal point and coordinating with Manufacturing Leadership, Engineering, Supply Chain, and customers.

You will evaluate contractual requirements, influence schedules, support financial planning, and drive overall program performance while leading technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering, Manufacturing Program Support, or Defense/Aerospace Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, drawings/specifications, and production planning/execution.
• Ability to own broad project responsibilities, lead technical discussions, and communicate across functions; ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: act as the technical lead for assigned programs, review drawings/specs, assess manufacturability, and mitigate risks.
• Program Execution: coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to drive milestones and deliverables.
• Customer & Contract Management: participate in customer meetings, review SOWs and contract requirements, close action items.
• Financial & Business Support: assist with cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts, and support PBP and capital investments.
