Job summary

Messer Construction Co. in Indianapolis is seeking a motivated entry-level Civil Engineer/Construction Manager to support our field teams on commercial projects.

You will assist with layout, documentation, and coordinating activities to keep jobs on schedule and within quality standards. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field and 0–3 years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 0-3 years of construction experience
• Ability to work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead site and building layout.
• Support the Zero Injury safety program.
• Support the Quality Leadership System.
• Provide document control including shop drawings, submittals, change orders, progress photos and daily reports.
• Coordinate scheduled construction activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
