Job summary

Messer Construction Co. in the Raleigh area is seeking an entry-level Construction Engineer to contribute to our safety, layout, and quality initiatives on real-world commercial building projects.

You will support our Zero Injury safety program, lead site layout tasks, manage document control for drawings and submittals, and coordinate construction activities, with opportunities to grow with an employee-owned company founded in 1932.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of construction experience
• Ability to work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Support our Zero Injury safety program.
• Lead site and building layout.
• Support the Quality Leadership System.
• Provide document control including shop drawings, submittals, change orders, progress photos and daily reports.
• Coordinate scheduled construction activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
