Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture required (extensive relevant CM experience may be considered)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Construction Manager
• Effective oral and written communication skills required
• Knowledge of project controls/scheduling, documentation, and construction principles required
• Strong computer skills; familiarity with MS Office and CM systems preferred
• CMIT is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides assistant construction management services on projects
• Knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specs to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Assists with oversight of progress of construction
• Coordinates and monitors activities of contractors/subcontractors, engineers, architects, and related entities
• Assists in managing project controls, cost, schedule, performance activities, and procedures per client
• Conducts project meetings, prepares minutes and tracking of information
• Ensures adherence to contractual safety and performance requirements
• Assists in project logistics, organization and safety
• Supports project closeout to obtain guarantees, warranties, and turnover to owner
