Job summary

Absher Construction seeks a Project Engineer to support field and office operations, coordinating with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure quality delivery. You’ll manage daily coordination, documentation, budgeting, compliance, and communication from start‑up through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or construction certificate program.
• 3–5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, documentation, and safety standards.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable with scheduling and project management tools.
• Able to read and interpret plans, specs and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project planning, integration, and completion of assigned scopes.
• Prepare and manage contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and material procurement.
• Lead on‑site engineering activities and maintain liaison with design teams and clients.
• Attend project meetings and support owner meetings with project management.
• Assist in preparing project status reports and closeout documentation.
• Review design documents for compliance with engineering and contract requirements.
• Monitor technical progress, testing, and resolution of design and construction issues.
• Track and manage costs to ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Promote and support site safety efforts through personal actions and team mentorship.
