Job summary

Barnard Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a cost control analyst to support heavy-civil projects across North America. You will participate in cost control operations, forecast revenue and costs, and prepare monthly pay estimates while coordinating with Project Managers and field teams.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in engineering or related field, willingness to travel, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent construction experience.
• Willing to relocate and travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Involvement in the cost control system operations and cost analysis.
• Forecast monthly revenue and cost accruals.
• Prepare monthly pay estimates.
• Process change orders and RFIs as directed by Project Manager.
• Coordinate and schedule shop drawings and submittals.
• Maintain records of submittals and approvals.
• Manage material deliveries and inspect quantities and quality.
• Negotiate subcontractor and material contracts.
• Assist in developing and updating project schedule.
• Collaborate with field construction personnel.
