HGC Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and oversight of construction projects from inception through closeout. You will help monitor schedules, control budgets, and collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure quality and safety.

The role emphasizes detailed organization, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Proven budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
• Familiarity with construction safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction from start through closeout.
• Monitor schedules and budgets to keep projects on track.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Assist with procurement of materials and equipment to keep projects moving.
• Maintain client communication and provide progress updates.
• Prepare reports, schedules, and meeting minutes; support closeout and evaluation.
• Identify risks and help implement mitigation strategies on site.
