Job summary

Fujitec America, Inc. is seeking a cost estimator/contract administrator to join our team in Carrollton, TX. This role focuses on preparing bids, reviewing contractor proposals, and coordinating drawings with HQ and vendors to ensure accurate and timely material and labor estimates.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and strong planning, analytical, and communication skills. PMP is a plus but not required and on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in related or equivalent industry experience
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in related
• PMP would be beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

• Examine estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare bids, process specifications, test and progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required.
• Review bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determine acceptable bids.
• Coordinate all drawings and approvals from HQ/Vendors to the GC/Owner for required materials on each project.
• Establish and maintain contact with general and subcontractors to ensure smooth contract awarding process.
• Develop, maintain, and deploy training for processes, systems, and procedures.
