Job summary

AmeriTex in Gunter, TX is seeking a project estimator/manager to prepare quotations, take-offs, and cost-based proposals for customers. You will support sales with bids, coordinate with procurement, and track project budgets from start to finish.

The role requires strong blueprint-reading skills, 2–4 years in construction/project management, and an engineering-related degree or equivalent experience. On-site role with collaboration across dispatch, manufacturing and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading construction plans and blueprints.
• Experience with project estimates, quotes and cost tracking.
• Strong liaison between sales, procurement and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit quotations and proposals to customers.
• Prepare and handle material take-offs at project start and sustain upkeep.
• Assist with bids for new contracts and support procurement.
• Maintain customer service focus while managing stakeholder expectations
• Serve as liaison between dispatch, manufacturing, sales and site leaders
• Prepare internal reports showing job progress and timelines
• Escalate issues to ensure seamless service to customers
• Collaborate with project coordination team to align customer expectations
• Act as a champion for AmeriTex products
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
