Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking experienced Test and Evaluation professionals for our Projecting Engineering role, working across development, integration and flight test activities to push concepts through production readiness.

You'll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead test events, and ensure compliance and safety while solving complex problems in a fast-paced defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of test engineering experience.
• Experience with MIL-STD-8591, MIL-STD-2088, MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, AS8775, AS5653.
• Experience with SRM or liquid propulsion system testing.
• Strong knowledge of the National Airspace System and UAS operating rules.
• Ability to understand concepts quickly and coordinate work phases.
• Experience leading test teams and working with DoD.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix OS and data extraction from software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on integration, maintenance and testing strategies to achieve program objectives.
• Coordinate all aspects of testing activities including personnel, equipment, datalinks, test facilities, and compliance.
• Act as a Project Engineer for small UAS or weapon systems, including development and integration tests.
• Provide oversight of test and integration efforts at system and subsystem levels.
• Communicate test plans, procedures, flight cards and reports clearly in writing.
• Plan test events with cross-department teams and lead execution.
• Participate in requirements development and design reviews with engineering teams.
• Support safety review boards and test readiness reviews.
• Lead or contribute to RCCA teams and related activities.
• Create system documentation such as manuals, checklists, and procedures.
• Coordinate project and test progress with leadership and manage resources.
• Work with internal and external customers as needed.
