Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an entry-level professional for the Advanced Facilities Group in the Cleveland area. You will participate in safety and quality plans, assist with estimating, and support on-site project activities across industrial, data center, and manufacturing projects.

You will learn to prepare daily reports, manage drawings, and aid procurement while collaborating with foremen, superintendents, and subcontractors. Strong communication and willingness to travel are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Entry-level construction experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and willingness to travel.
• Ability to read drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates with project QA/QC planning for quality.
• Learns estimating and change management processes, including quantity take-off and reviewing subcontractor proposals.
• Works on site with project team to monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Participates in punch lists, city inspections, safety reviews and documentation.
• Posts drawings and specifications with the most recent information.
• Prepares documentation and participates in project meetings.
• Produces reports like daily/weekly progress, manpower, schedules and equipment tracking.
• Supports project close-out including punch lists and as-built drawings.
• Applies Lean practices to regular activities.
