Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company seeks a Project Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group to join our on-site team in a growing, collaborative environment. You will engage with safety, QA/QC, estimating, and scheduling activities while supporting field operations on industrial projects.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field and basic construction experience, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Entry level construction experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans across projects.
• Supports QA/QC planning for assigned tasks.
• Assists with estimating and change management processes and tools.
• Works on site with the project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Prepares and documents progress reports and meetings for the project.
• Creates procurement logs and tracks shop drawings and deliveries.
• Supports project close-out documentation and handover packages.
