Job summary

Edwards Construction Group is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support delivery of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safety, schedule, and budget objectives are met.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to grow into increased project responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction roles.
• Working knowledge of construction plans, drawings and specs.
• Experience with Procore and cost control processes.
• Strong communication, organization and scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
• Distribute contract documents and revisions to teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout deliverables.
• Assist with budgets, schedules of values, and cost tracking.
• Maintain subcontractor/owner documentation in Procore.
• Support project scheduling, phasing, and sequencing.
• Prepare meeting minutes and project communications.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and escalate issues to PM.
