Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 2 for our Heavy Equipment Solutions in Kansas City, MO. You will support routine construction and field execution, learning construction management processes and applying company best practices.

You will work with the project team on safety, QA/QC, estimates, schedules, daily reports, and procurement logs. You will coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, and trades to keep the project moving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 2+ years construction experience.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Willing to travel and relocate as needed.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans and supports a culture of compliance.
• Assists with estimating, schedules and daily logs.
• Pre-plans crew activities and updates daily task plans.
• Supports project administration and CMiC usage.
• Coordinates with subcontractors and internal teams.
