We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer to manage and execute capital projects at a chemical manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with experience taking projects from conceptual engineering through construction, commissioning, and startup.

REQUIRED:

• Chemical Manufacturing Experience
• 5+ years in CAPEX Project in Chemical, Petrochemical, or Refinery Environment
• Engineering Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

What You’ll Do

• Manage multiple capital projects from concept through startup.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Lead or support engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Coordinate with plant operations, maintenance, corporate teams, contractors, and engineering firms.
• Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, and deliverables.
• Provide technical support and resolve engineering or construction issues.
• Support commissioning and startup of completed projects.
• $10M+ annual capital budget
• Approximately 40 active projects at any given time
• Approximately 60 projects annually
• Typical project values: $100K-$2M
• Onsite team includes 4 Project Engineers and 1 Project Engineering Manager
• Engineering, procurement, and construction support provided by plant, corporate, and contractor teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical or Chemical preferred
• 5+ years of capital project experience
• Experience managing projects within a chemical, petrochemical, petroleum refining, or similar process plant
• Strong background in engineering, construction, procurement, and project management
• Experience taking projects from concept through startup
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

This is a 100% onsite position in Winder, GA. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on project needs.
