Job summary

Bloks-precast in the United States seeks an experienced Production Engineer to own the onsite precast yard setup and ensure smooth operation, meet daily production targets and manage resources. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, main contractors and the home office, and overseeing material procurement.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in production engineering with a Civil Engineering degree, and demonstrates strong leadership of site engineers, QC, production and admin

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Production Engineering or related field.
• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering required.
• Experience in onsite precast or construction production is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own onsite precast yard setup and its operation.
• Plan production, mould planning and daily target achievement.
• Plan and deploy manpower and machinery; monitor progress.
• Coordinate with Client, Consultant/Main Contractor & HO.
• Plan raw material requirements and procurement (cement, steel, aggregates).
• Check reinforcement, shuttering and concrete before casting.
• Monitor in situ works and precast erection (columns/beams/slabs).
• Manage project billing, quantities, reconciliation and cost control.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Complete responsibility for Onsite Precast Yard setup and its operation.
• Overall Production Planning, Mould planning & daily production target achievement.
• Manpower & Machinery planning, deployment and monitoring.
• Coordination with Client, Consultant Main Contractor & HO.
• Planning for Raw Material (Cement, Steel, Aggregate, Admixture) requirement & procurement.
• Checking of reinforcement, shuttering & concrete before casting.
• Monitoring in situ works & Precast erection activities - columns, beams, slabs as per erection sequence.
• Responsible for Project Billing, Quantities, Reconciliation & Cost Control.
• Maintaining Daily Progress Reports, Safety & Quality at site.
• Leadership - Handling team of Site Engineers, QC, Production & Admin staff

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-7 years of experience in Production Engineering or related field (B.Tech / B.E. degree Civil Engineering).
