Talent Acquisition Specialist | Building High-Performing Teams Across Multiple Divisions
Position Summary

Eagle Precast in Kings Mountain is seeking a hands‑on leader to oversee day‑to‑day production at our precast concrete facility. This role is ideal for a production supervisor, leadman, or QC technician with a solid understanding of precast operations who’s ready to take the next step. You’ll be responsible for supervising a small team, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity—while actively participating in daily operations.

This is not a desk job. We are looking for someone who is on the floor, knows how to roll up their sleeves, and thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment.

Key Abilities for Position Success

Building Collaborative Relationships: Must have the ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside or outside the organization who can provide information, assistance, and support. Confronts all problems with an intent to find solutions rather than blame. Establishes “win‑win” relationships as opposed to “us versus them” relationships.

Reflects Company Values: Teamwork, Integrity, Accountability

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily production activities on the floor, ensuring safe and efficient workflows.
  • Oversee yard operations with a hands‑on approach, ensuring that the products are properly handled and staged. Take a proactive role in identifying and addressing issues before they reach QC.
  • Conduct daily walk‑throughs with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks on the spot – preventing problems from carrying over into the next day.
  • Oversee concrete pours, finishing, stripping, and staging of precast products.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure all work meets specifications and tolerances.
  • Monitor material usage and communicate supply needs.
  • Coach and guide crew members on best practices and safety compliance.
  • Assist with planning daily schedules and keeping production on track.
  • Identify and solve production issues as they arise.
  • Help implement continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste and downtime.
  • Report directly to senior leadership with updates on operations and team performance.
Requirements
  • Ability to see “the big picture”.
  • Proven experience in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete production, form setup, finishing and curing processes. Experience with Precast Concrete a plus.
  • Hands‑on leadership style: willing to work alongside the team when needed (ie run the crane, pour the concrete, operate equipment etc).
  • Experience in quality control and understanding of concrete specifications.
  • Experience reading and understanding blueprints and production schedules.
  • Natural problem‑solver who can make quick decisions in the field.
  • Effective communicator and team motivator.
  • Able to hold team members accountable in a respectful, results‑driven way.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years concrete production experience – precast concrete preferred.
  • Knowledge of rebar placement, embeds, lifting hardware, and form prep.
  • Previous experience as a Lead, Foreman, Production Supervisor, or QC Technician preferred.
  • Exposure to DOT / State Highway standards for precast components (ie tolerances, finish requirements etc).
  • Ability to work with batch plant operations – understanding mix consistency, water‑cement ratios, additives, and setting times.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful but not required.
Certifications
  • OSHA 10‑hour Safety Certification (OSHA 30 preferred)
  • ACI Field Testing Technician – Grade 1
  • Forklift and/or crane operation certification (preferred)
  • NPCA Master Precaster (a strong plus but not required)
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors and in a plant setting with exposure to weather, dust, and machinery.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety boots, gloves, etc.).
  • Able to climb stairs, ladders, and move around large concrete forms and equipment.
