Job summary

Ambassador Personnel Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer III for a leading manufacturing facility in Savannah, GA. You will oversee capital projects from concept to startup, delivering facility upgrades, equipment installs and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing, with strong communication and problem-solving skills, CAD/Autodesk and engineering software proficiency.

What You'll Do:

• Lead capital projects including facility upgrades, equipment installations, and process improvements
• Manage projects from concept through design, budgeting, construction, commissioning, and startup
• Support production and maintenance teams with engineering expertise
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external contractors
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and operational excellence
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing and technical challenges

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
• 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven success managing capital projects from concept to completion
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and maintenance
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with G Suite and engineering-related software

Preferred:

• CAD drafting experience (Autodesk preferred)
• Experience with OEMs, consulting engineering firms, or integrated design environments
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, Process Safety Management (PSM), and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
