Job summary

Propel Recruitment LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to join the construction team supporting active residential development on the San Francisco Peninsula. You will report to the Vice President of Construction and collaborate with project management, development professionals, general contractors, and field teams.

The role focuses on assisting with coordination, documentation, RFIs/submittals, and milestone tracking, with opportunities to grow ownership of project responsibilities as experience

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant construction or project engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Experience with a general contractor, developer or owner-builder strongly preferred.
• Residential construction experience, including multifamily or high-end residential, is particularly relevant.
• Understanding of construction processes, terminology and project documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both field and office-based teams.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the desire to learn and take on increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

A leading real estate investment and development firm is seeking a Project Engineer to join its construction team and support active residential development projects on the San Francisco Peninsula.

Reporting to the Vice President of Construction, the Project Engineer will work closely with internal project management and development professionals while coordinating with general contractors, superintendents, subcontractors and other project partners. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career construction professional interested in moving to the owner/developer side and gaining exposure to complex projects from a broader perspective.

The immediate focus will include a significant residential development.

Compensation

Base salary of approximately $90,000–$130,000, plus bonus potential, depending on experience.

This compensation range is a good faith estimate of the expected wage range you can expect to be paid upon hire.
