Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Life Science Recruiter

Technical Source is looking for a Project Engineer for our Pharmaceutical Client's site in the Central Pennsylvania area! Ideally, we're looking for candidates with previous capital project experience within a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing site. This individual must understand process equipment and manufacturing systems from a technical standpoint, while also being able to drive capital projects from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate capital projects involving process equipment like filtration systems, buffer prep tanks, and skid-mounted biotech systems
• Act as a bridge between design, engineering, and execution, bringing process expertise to capital project oversight
• Assist in reviewing equipment specs and coordinating procurement and installation timelines
• Interface with construction managers and site teams during execution
• Review technical documents and drawings; contribute to design reviews
• Track progress against project milestones and budgets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Bioprocess Engineering
• 3–5 years of total experience, including at least 2 years managing or coordinating capital projects in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment
• Strong knowledge of process equipment—filtration, buffer prep, CIP/SIP, etc.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, construction, procurement, and validation teams
• Familiarity with design documentation (P&IDs, equipment specs, layout drawings); design experience is a plus
• Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced environment
