Job description

Join Our Team as an Employee Owner in Orlando

Become our next employee owner and work with a great team in the Orlando region. The right candidate will have a degree in engineering, along with three years of experience successfully managing administrative activities on a construction project. They should also be able to perform project management activities within a limited scope of work with little oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assemble and distribute bid packages.
  2. Contact appropriate vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing information.
  3. Obtain scopes of work and quotations from subcontractors and vendors.
  4. Perform scope and price reviews to ensure complete coverage of the work.
  5. Review subcontractor and vendor quotes regarding scope, pricing, and schedule.
  6. Analyze and negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontract/PO change orders.
  7. Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and other commitments in CMiC.
  8. Prepare agenda, take notes, and disseminate subcontractor coordination meeting minutes.
  9. Read and review the project's owner's contract.
  10. Review design drawings and specifications to identify potential issues.
  11. Generate and process RFIs.
  12. Prepare change orders to the owner's contract in CMiC.
  13. Develop and maintain the contract document logs (design drawings, specifications, ASI, etc.).
  14. Manage bid package addenda.
  15. Update and distribute documents such as design drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, potential change items, change orders, schedules, etc.

  17. Generate a submittal log at the onset of the project.
  18. Review submittals for compliance and compatibility.
  19. Expedite submittals as needed to ensure that construction activities aren't delayed.
  20. Perform project management duties timely to avoid delays in field activities.
  21. Keep project progress up-to-date in the schedule and modify it as required to reflect changes to the owner's contract.
  22. Verify material deliveries for compliance with contract requirements and submittal data.
  23. Prepare and submit budget changes.
  24. Assign costs to the correct job cost structures.
