Position: Project Engineer (Manufacturing Engineering) – Mission, TX – USA. On‑site employee.
Responsibilities
- Implement deviations and change notices (CN) in SAP.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to execute plant budget development and management, including asset implementation at project close.
- Release engineering documentation—including drawings, bills of material, quality critical features, and related documents—to support proper execution by plant resources.
- Track product cost and manage savings through prototype to implementation.
- Develop robust manufacturing processes applying PFMEA, SMED, and poke‑a‑yoke principles.
- Approve new components under SQA‑015.
- Establish quality‑assurance equipment and documentation, including incoming QC, in‑process QC, end‑of‑line testing, and finished‑stock audit requirements.
- Coordinate and lead all sample builds—prototype, ESL, MSL, and pilot builds—in an efficient and organized manner.
- Identify and communicate risks and concerns related to product quality and/or project schedule.
- Facilitate effective communication among all internal and external team members.
- Manage engineering and product changes to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (required).
- Five or more years’ experience in molding manufacturing (preferred).
- Strong understanding of injection‑molding principles.
- Experience with mold construction (preferred).
- Minimum of three years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in at least two of the following disciplines: production, quality, materials, design, or manufacturing (preferred).
- Demonstrated project‑management and implementation experience (required).

Salary
Base salary range: $64,400.00 – $103,700.00 annually. Salary varies by job level, geographic location, experience, and other factors. Annual merit increases may apply.
