Job summary

Comal Services is seeking a Project Engineer in Texas to review proposals and specifications to determine engineering requirements and feasibility. You will collaborate with a team of engineers and designers through all phases from concept to start‑up, ensuring clear communication across disciplines and advancing pumping solutions for industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Engineering is required, with a background in Mechanical preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in project engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience is necessary.
• Experience with skid package and fabrication, demonstrating hands-on knowledge.
• Proficiency in reading P&IDs and creating/ reviewing design drawings.

• Review project proposals, specifications, and inspection reports to determine engineering requirements and feasibility.
• Create and/or review engineering drawings, including centrifugal pump component design and shop routings.
• Participate in all phases of a project, from conceptual design to detailed engineering, equipment fabrication, testing, and start-up.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between all engineering and design disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses related to process design and equipment selection.

This role involves working as a Project Engineer, where you will review project proposals and specifications to determine engineering requirements and feasibility. Your expertise will ensure effective communication and coordination across engineering disciplines while contributing to innovative pumping solutions and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and/or review engineering drawings, including centrifugal pump component design and shop routings.
• Participate in all phases of a project, from conceptual design to detailed engineering, equipment fabrication, testing, and start-up.

Required Qualifications
