Job summary

MMR Group, Inc. based in Hubbard, TX, is seeking a Project Engineer to manage project engineering workflows including RFIs, submittals, document control, design clarifications, material procurement support, scope tracking, installation work packages, and coordination with construction and quality teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field teams, tracking changes, supporting turnover, and generating weekly and monthly status reports; candidates should have a BS in Construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction is required.
• Industrial construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and purchasing.
• Ability to read electrical drawing packages and specifications.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
• Ability to read CPM schedules and identify critical paths.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

MMR is seekingProject Engineercandidates to manage project engineering workflows including RFIs, submittals, document control, designclarifications, material procurement support, scope tracking, installation work packages, reporting, andcoordination with construction and quality teams.The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:

• Manage RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications.


• Maintain document control and tracking logs.


• Support procurement and material expediting.


• Coordinate drawing revisions and engineering communications.


• Track scope changes and assist with change documentation.


• Support turnover and closeout documentation.


• Build and maintain installation work packages.


• Coordinate with construction, quality, and safety departments to generate weekly and monthlyreports consisting of project status and financials.


• Ensure Field Engineers perform installation audits and tracking updates for accurate clientreporting.


• Assist Superintendents, Procurement, and Logistics team with bill of material for installationwork packages.


• Assist Assistant Project Managers with design revisions and change management process.


• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• BS in Construction Managementor related field


• Experienceinelectrical and instrumentation construction required


• Experience in industrial construction is preferred


• Must have knowledge in estimating, scheduling, and purchasing


• Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications


• Working knowledge of MS Office software


• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred


• Ability to read and understand a CPM schedule and identifycritical paths


• Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision


• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills


• Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Willingness to work flexible,varyinghours, including evenings and weekends as needed


• Regular and reliable attendance at work
