Job summary

Responsibilities

• Identify RFIs, Change Orders, and schedule impacts and relay findings.
• Develop quantity takeoffs for EWO and revised drawings with Project Controls Engineer.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management.

Job Description:

MMR is seeking Field Engineer candidates to support field installation activities by conducting walkdowns, verifying layouts, resolvingconstructability issues, assisting with inspections, maintaining as‑built documentation, and providingaccurate progress and quantity tracking to field supervision.The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:

• Verify timesheets, quantities, and reported production.
• Track and report construction progress.
• Maintain constraint, Extra Work Order, and RFI logs.
• Identify material requirements, confirm availability and procurement status, and ensure timely ordering through material take-offs and field requisitions.
• Proactively identify potential RFIs, Change Order Requests, and schedule impacts and relay findings to the Project Controls Engineer.
• Develop quantity takeoffs for Extra Work Orders and revised drawings and coordinate findings with the Work Packaging team and Project Controls Engineer.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• BS in Construction Management or related field
• Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferred
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
• Must have basic knowledge in estimating and controls
• Working knowledge of MS Office software
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Regular and reliable attendance at work
