Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Project Engineer to support the execution of complex engineering programs in a technical, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field is required.
• 3+ years in engineering, project engineering, or technical project execution.
• Experience coordinating engineering deliverables, schedules, and hardware development projects.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of engineering projects and work packages.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, quality, testing, supply chain, regulatory, and project controls teams.
• Track project schedules, milestones, actions, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Support design reviews, test readiness activities, and technical decision-making.
• Coordinate supplier, laboratory, fabrication, and external partner activities to meet objectives.
• Maintain project documentation, action logs, status updates, and change records.
• Identify risks or blockers and drive timely resolution.
• Ensure alignment between requirements, schedules, and priorities.

Airswift is supporting a pioneering engineering and technology organization developing next-generation energy solutions. We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the execution of complex engineering programs in a highly technical and collaborative environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who enjoys coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing technical deliverables, and driving projects from concept through testing and development. You'll work alongside experienced engineering leaders while building strong project execution and technical coordination expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of engineering projects, work packages, and technical initiatives.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, quality, testing, supply chain, regulatory, and project controls teams.
• Track project schedules, milestones, actions, risks, dependencies, and engineering deliverables.
• Support design reviews, test readiness activities, and technical decision-making processes.
• Coordinate supplier, laboratory, fabrication, and external partner activities to ensure project objectives are met.
• Maintain project documentation, action logs, status updates, and change records.
• Identify potential execution risks, issues, or blockers and help drive timely resolution.
• Ensure alignment between technical requirements, schedules, deliverables, and project priorities.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering, project engineering, or technical project execution environments.
• Experience coordinating engineering deliverables, schedules, technical activities, or hardware development projects.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear energy, power generation, aerospace, defense, EPC/EPCM, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
• Exposure to complex hardware development, prototype programs, testing, or first-of-a-kind projects.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
• Familiarity with quality systems, configuration management, document control, or change management processes.
• EIT, PMP, or related certifications are a plus.
