Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a Project Engineer to support industrial construction projects by coordinating schedules, project controls, field execution, and documentation. You will work closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Ideal candidates have experience in industrial, commercial, or heavy construction and are proficient with Procore and Primavera P6, plus EV tracking and turnover documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Engineer in industrial, commercial, or heavy construction.
• Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, and field coordination.
• Experience with Procore and Primavera P6 preferred.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), RFIs, submittals, and turnover documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Track project progress using Earned Value Management.
• Develop and maintain work packages and turnover documentation.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and project correspondence.
• Update Primavera P6 schedules and 3-Week Look Ahead schedules.
• Coordinate weekly subcontractor meetings and monitor project progress.
• Assist with document control, as-built drawings, and turnover packages.
• Track materials, equipment, and vendor deliveries.
• Support procurement activities and liaise with subcontractors and vendors.
