POWER Engineers, member of WSP, is currently seeking a Project Engineer to work with our Government Services Division. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an engineering team engaged in design projects in the Government market, including mission-critical infrastructure such as power delivery, power generation, power distribution, backup power, UPS systems, renewable energy, MEP design, and related projects.
Key skills for the successful candidate include strong team leadership, mentoring, excellent communication and presentation skills, motivation, a positive attitude, and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. The department is growing, and the successful applicant will play a vital role in developing a sustainable electrical department, interfacing directly with clients, and driving projects to successful completion within budget and schedule constraints.
Responsibilities include leading design teams, including sub-consultants, and working with federal clients on energy and infrastructure projects. The candidate must have a deeply technical engineering skill set, experience leading design teams, and interface with federal clients. Candidates should be licensed professional engineers in electrical or mechanical engineering.
