Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Project Engineer for a premier commercial general contractor. The role involves assisting the PM, reviewing plans, coordinating with teams and subs, and using Procore to manage scheduling, budgets, and communications.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management, at least two years of project engineering experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects with attention to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in the Construction industry.
• Proficient in Procore or equivalent project management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with project management and team coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Project Manager in the planning, management, and execution of construction projects.

• Coordinating with the project team and subcontractors to ensure all technical aspects of the project are accurately executed.

• Preparing and submitting project reports, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Ensuring all safety and compliance measures are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborating with the team to develop and implement project strategies and optimize productivity.
