Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic EHS Manager to integrate environmental health & safety services into project operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and a safe workplace on our assigned project.

The role is project-based and requires close collaboration with EH&S staff, superintendents, project managers, and executives to drive strong safety performance and regulatory adherence. A robust commitment to Diversity and Inclusion underpins our culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree – Occupational Safety / Health, or an engineering discipline degree or equivalent combination of training and related experience
• 5+ years prior relevant experience.
• Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
• Typically requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrate environmental health & safety services into the business practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements on the assigned project.
• Operate on a project-based basis to oversee EH&S responsibilities and collaborate with EH&S staff, superintendents, project manager, project executive and area/regional EH&S director.
• Provide leadership to ensure a safe work environment and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
