Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead EHS integration on large, complex projects in the Portland area. The role oversees EHS services, ensuring regulatory compliance and coordination with site leadership and EH&S staff.

Ideal candidates bring a long track record in construction safety with OSHA 30 certification, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills to influence safety culture across teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience managing direct reports.
• 10+ years of experience identifying safety hazards and recommending controls.
• 10+ years of experience communicating with employees at all levels in a construction environment.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Safety Management, Engineering, or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Integrate environmental health & safety services into project practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements on assigned project.
• Coordinate with EH&S staff, Superintendents, Project Manager and Area/Regional EHS Director.
