Job summary

HealthBridge Financial, Inc. is seeking a Project Director in Grand Rapids, MI, reporting to the SVP of Program Development. You will lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives, driving from definition to implementation and transition.

You will align business and technology teams, manage risks, engage executives, and ensure readiness across processes, technology, and training for ongoing ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, or technology.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, consulting, professional services, or related delivery roles.
• 5+ years independently leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple departments and senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading technology-enabled business initiatives with internal tech teams and external vendors.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management with non-direct reports.
• Healthcare industry experience including healthcare delivery, revenue cycle, or related services.
• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional projects with multiple business functions, tech teams, vendors, clients, and stakeholders.
• Translate objectives into executable project plans with scope, milestones, and success measures.
• Coordinate work across teams, establish accountability, and maintain momentum toward outcomes.
• Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies with timely resolution or escalation.
• Coordinate decision-making, document outcomes, and escalate when needed.
• Facilitate governance events: kickoffs, status meetings, and executive updates.
• Provide clear project visibility through concise health, milestones, risks, and priorities reports.
• Lead stakeholder and client engagement to build alignment across executives and teams.
• Partner with internal technology teams and external vendors on tech-enabled initiatives.
• Coordinate readiness across processes, technology, and training for transition to ownership.
