Job summary

SunSteel LLC in Vancouver, WA seeks a detail-oriented project coordinator to oversee detailing operations and manage customer projects with the project manager and cross-functional teams.

You will communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to meet objectives, assist with scheduling, support drawing logs, RFIs, fabrication workflows, and ensure timely, safe, high-quality project delivery in line with SunSteel standards and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of construction standards (AISC, AWS, ASTM, OSHA).
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review contract docs to determine the scope of materials with sales.
• Coordinate the incorporation of shop and erection drawings.
• Process RFIs, including writing, reviewing, modifying, confirming legitimacy, and communicating with customers.
• Review shop/erection drawings prior to distribution and maintain schedule importance.
• Coordinate with production control for drawing log/load list.
• Create and maintain load lists for each project and resolve fabrication questions.
• Evaluate field problems and furnish field drawings as needed.
• Communicate with the Project Manager to align on required materials.
• Visit job sites as necessary to ensure project goals are met.
• Manage time effectively to meet project demands.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
