Job summary

Schuff Steel is seeking a Project Coordinator to facilitate the flow of technical information between the Project Management team, customers, and subcontractors. You will develop relationships with internal and external clients through clear verbal and written communication, ensuring smooth project execution.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings for accuracy, coordinating detailing setup, guiding detailers, and tracking submittals and fabrication releases.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical training in engineering or detailing is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CM, Structural/Civil Engineering, or related field may substitute for experience.
• Experience coordinating structural steel projects is valued.

Responsibilities

• Review design drawings for accuracy and completeness and resolve discrepancies with customers and teams.
• Coordinate project sequencing and detailing setup, including shop drawings and advance bills.
• Provide guidance to steel detailers to prepare shop drawings per project requirements.
• Monitor schedules for submittals, approvals, and fabrications; flag delays to PMs.
