Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Project Designer to develop documents, drawings, and diagrams aligned with client goals. The role focuses on preliminary space plans, design concepts, and coordination with allied design professionals.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of design experience in commercial real estate, a relevant degree (or Interior Design cert), and proficiency with Revit.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of design experience within the commercial real estate market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related discipline or Certification, Degree or Diploma as alternative.
• Experience in Revit, either professional or academic.
• Excellent time management, communication, collaboration, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Skills coordinating Audio Visual and other specialty consultants.

Responsibilities

• Formulate preliminary space plans and sketches that integrate the client’s needs.
• Confirm preliminary space plans and design concepts are safe, functional, and compliant with health and safety requirements.
• Determine selection of colors, materials and finishes to convey concepts and meet requirements.
• Establish selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, equipment and millwork, including drawings and contract documentation.
• Coordinate and collaborate with allied design professionals.
• Ensure construction documents are signed and sealed where required by jurisdiction.
• Assist with administration of contract documents, bids and negotiations.
• Provide reporting on project progress and completion.
