Job summary

The S.C. Swiderski (SCS) project design team seeks a Project Designer I to support architectural design and documentation for residential, multifamily, and mixed-use projects from concept through construction documents.

You will assist with drawings, coordinate revisions, maintain standards, and help ensure code compliance, quality, and schedule alignment while working at our Mosinee, Wisconsin office. This full-time, day-shift role may require up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in architecture, interior design, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in architectural design, drafting or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of Revit experience.
• 2+ years of wood-frame multifamily design experience.

Responsibilities

• The Project Designer I assists the architectural design and technical development of assigned projects.
• Prepares construction documents for permit and construction.
• Ensures drawings are accurate, coordinated, and code compliant.
• Develops creative and practical design solutions while maintaining project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinates revisions throughout the design process.
• Maintains company drafting and documentation standards.
• Assists in developing standard details and production efficiencies.
• Tracks consultant deliverables and incorporate revisions.
• Tracks project milestones and internal deadlines.
• Reviews shop drawings and submittals.
• Assists with field observations and site visits.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive Company information professionally.
